Rocky Cusseaux is a Tampa native and has been performing since his 2nd grade debut as Michael Jackson and the young lady (playing both roles) in the introduction of the “Thriller” video. In elementary school (Macfarlane) he was a broadcaster on the morning tv show and by high school he became a member of the International Thespian Society–Troupe 2932 (Leto H.S.), where he was also named to the All-Star Cast for Hillsborough County.
Rocky considers himself an entertainer, which encompasses his love of theatre, dance and stand-up comedy. While attending the University of Florida, he won critical acclaim in all three areas with such highlights as winning comedy competitions, opening for comedian Bill Cosby, hosting Gator Growl (the largest student-run pep rally in the world), winning two years in a row at an international dance competition and helping to found Nubian Alegria and Apocalypse Dance Troupes.
While living in Tampa, Rocky was a founding cast member of Got Jokes? Improv, performed in several plays like: “On A Mission,” “The Odd Couple,” “We Are Family, Still,” “Gold Diggers,” “Saved in the City 2,” “Between Calls,” and “Saul’s Juke Joint.” He also co-produced and starred in the mini-series todd the Zombie, looking for Love.
